Intervertebral Disc Disease
Intervertebral discs act as shock absorbing cushions between the vertebrae of the spine.  Each disc consists of a tough outer ring surrounding a jelly-like core.  With age, the core hardens while the outer ring loses some of its strength.

Rabies

Whelping or Parturition-Normal Canine Birthing and After Care
You should begin to prepare for delivery of puppies at about the 58th day of pregnancy.  A whelping box should be provided for the mother to sleep in to ensure birth of the puppies in the area you have chosen.
